Is the 2024 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Q5 is presented as a refined, comfortable, and substantial-feeling luxury SUV, with a smooth ride and a well-finished cabin that should suit everyday use well. Its standard all-wheel drive and straightforward premium positioning also point to a vehicle built for broad appeal rather than gimmicks.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying too much for a version that does not match your needs, since some trims can be rather expensive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 550 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,969 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $38,368 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,678 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 more attractive to buyers today but may limit upside for a future seller if values continue to normalise. On the other hand, a well-kept example bought at the right price can still hold appeal because it sits in a popular luxury SUV segment with broad everyday usefulness. Strong equipment, comfort, and practicality should help keep demand steady.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,964 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,368 CAD average.
• It blends sporty character with everyday comfort.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $54,883 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,368 CAD average.
• It brings Audi’s current design language and tech suite.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest mix of comfort, practicality, and current-market value. If your priority is spending less, the 2023 is the smarter budget path; if you want the newest redesign and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the upgrade route.
