Reviewed a 2024 Audi quattro Premium 40 TFSI AWD on May 16, 2025
I gave this car a 4 out of 5 because it offers excellent comfort, fuel efficiency, and reliability — typical of the Camry line. The infotainment system is user-friendly, and the safety features like lane assist and adaptive cruise control are great additions, even in a used model. It feels like a solid value for the price, especially considering Toyota’s strong resale value and warranty options for certified vehicles. However, I do think it could use a more premium interior finish and better sound insulation — especially compared to competitors like the Honda Accord or Mazda6.

How much does the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $42,109 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $42,081 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $55,946 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $55,966 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −24.76% |
Prices have softened 24.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 55 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback a good car?
Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests you should feel confident considering it if the shape, size, and price fit your needs.
That kind of owner approval, paired with 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, gives you a useful mix of shopper confidence and market opportunity.
Is the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can point to lower perceived ownership risk, especially if the specific vehicle has been maintained properly.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A5 Sportback?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently while still being ready to move on a strong listing.
- Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 55 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 24.76% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $42,081 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Audi A5 Sportback's resale value?
The current average of $42,109 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,966 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future depreciation easier to gauge if you buy now. If you plan to sell later, entering at a lower purchase price can help cushion the impact of further market softening. A smaller pool of well-priced listings can also support demand when your turn to sell comes.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2024 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 24.76% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner approval and current market softness, the 2024 is the year to focus on first. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you should also compare nearby model years and use the current price drop to target the best-value listing rather than the newest one.
