The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is a brand-new hot hatch that stakes its claim as the rowdiest on the road.
The mad scientists at work in Toyota’s Gazoo Racing (GAH-ZOO) department are at it again, this time taking the typically tame Toyota Corolla and igniting it with a 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel drive, and enough bulging bodywork to make a Volkswagen Golf R blush.
The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is an all-new look for the Corolla. The car most often considered for boring, A-to-B commutes has been utterly transformed, signaling to the world that the marketplace for sizzling hot hatchbacks is still alive and well for enthusiasts to enjoy.

Low production numbers caused enormous markups. Most dealers just use it to try to sell you on something else, which is nothing like the car you wanted.
