What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Camry Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE Nightshade Edition adds bronze wheels, a new Reservoir Blue paint colour, black-trimmed headlights and taillights, a TRD mesh grille, black mirror caps, a black rear spoiler, and black badges. The base SE-spec interior is functional, but the cabin materials can feel cheap, so you should inspect the finish closely.
• Powertrain: The hybrid uses a 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine, an electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery pack, with net output of 208 horsepower. It sends power to the front wheels and simulates a CVT.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, and Intersection Support. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are optional.
• Infotainment: You can get a 7-inch or 9-inch touchscreen. Both include Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, while the larger screen adds connected navigation and a 9-speaker JBL premium sound system. Toyota also offers connected services such as Safety Connect, Remote Connect, and WiFi Connect.
