Is the 2023 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Porsche Macan earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its sporty driving experience, handling, and standard features, while also highlighting the high-quality interior and comfortable cabin. It fits you well if you want a compact luxury SUV that feels more driver-focused than practical, especially if you value performance and polish over maximum family space. Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 149 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,801 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $58,941 CAD sits slightly below last year's $73,548 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today but may limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, the Macan’s premium image and enthusiast appeal should help support demand later. The current deal environment also means future buyers may continue to see value in a well-kept example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $52,636 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $58,941 CAD average.
• It delivers a more sports-car-like driving feel than most compact SUVs.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you can find one in good condition with the features you want.
