Is the 2023 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Porsche Macan earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its sporty features, fun driving experience, and handling, while also highlighting the high-quality interior and comfortable space. It also fits well if you want a compact luxury SUV that feels more engaging to drive than most rivals, though practicality for families is a recurring trade-off. With 40.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity.

Is the 2023 Porsche Macan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a reliable, dependable feel, with satisfaction tied to the Macan’s overall ownership experience and the confidence buyers place in it over time. That said, used buyers should still weigh maintenance history carefully, since long-term ownership risk is always lower when the vehicle has been consistently cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Macan?

It looks like a buyer-friendly market right now, especially if you are comparing listings carefully and moving quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 40.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 172 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.58% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $59,414 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $59,414 CAD sits slightly below last year's $74,813 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. If prices stabilise, well-kept examples could hold up better than average because shoppers still value the Macan’s premium feel and driving character.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 40.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $53,543 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $59,414 CAD average.
• It delivers sharp handling and a premium cabin.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a market that currently favours buyers. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you still want the Macan’s sporty character and upscale feel.
