Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearPeterborough, ON

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 12.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 341 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

It is aimed at you if you want a polished, upscale small luxury SUV that feels refined rather than flashy. The conservative redesign keeps the exterior understated, while the cabin upgrades and premium materials help it stay competitive in the class.

The main trade-offs are that it does not offer much cargo space and it is not very exciting to drive. Those compromises matter less if your priority is comfort and quality over driver engagement.

Only 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLC’s appeal is built around comfort, premium materials, and a refined driving experience, which supports confidence for everyday ownership. Its smooth power delivery and quiet cabin also point to a vehicle that is designed to feel composed over time.

The available 48-volt mild-hybrid setup and Mercedes’ emphasis on polished operation suggest a modern, well-integrated powertrain. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you are comfortable with a luxury SUV that prioritises refinement over simplicity.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLC 300 is the redesigned model, while the Coupe models are carryovers with a different roofline and an older interior layout. The base SUV has the newer, more modern cabin, but the Coupe’s older setup still has some usability advantages.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with a 9-speed automatic and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada. It is tuned for smooth, comfortable acceleration rather than sporty urgency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. The optional Intelligent Drive package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist.
• Infotainment: The new cabin centres on an 11.9-inch touchscreen, and standard connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also supports voice control, though the screen placement and touch-based controls can be distracting.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 is estimated at 10.4 L/100 km in city driving, 9.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 1 trim level: GLC 300.

Here's the short version:

The GLC 300 is the one to focus on if you want the redesigned SUV with the newer interior, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, and the best balance of comfort and efficiency. It is the best-value choice because it gives you the core GLC experience without stepping into the older Coupe body style or chasing extra performance.

The standard safety setup is solid, but if you want more driver assistance features, you should look for a vehicle equipped with the optional Intelligent Drive package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price movement to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 341 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,469 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $48,469 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,450 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the GLC more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means you may need to lean on condition, equipment, and mileage to stand out.

Because the model has softened from its earlier average, resale value will likely depend on how well your vehicle presents relative to similar listings. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should remain easier to move than higher-mileage or lightly equipped ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The previous GLC on which the returning Coupe is based received a five-out-of-five star rating from NHTSA for overall, frontal, and side crash protection. It also received top scores from the IIHS and was named a Top Safety Pick, its second-highest honour.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features and driver assistance technologies for the new GLC 300 include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. The optional Intelligent Drive package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist.

The Coupe comes standard with cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera but otherwise, its Intelligent Drive package is identical to the new GLC. For used buyers, the main safety gap to watch for is whether a given vehicle has the optional driver-assistance package you want.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a conservative redesign with a more upscale interior and a refined, comfort-first character.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $52,616 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $48,469 CAD average.
• It adds a more polished ride, stronger safety credentials, and a more functional voice-command system.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the smarter starting point because it delivers the redesigned GLC experience at a lower average price. If you are willing to pay more for the next year’s added polish and convenience, the 2024 is the better fit; otherwise, the 2023 remains the more price-sensitive buy.
