Is the 2023 Porsche Cayenne a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Porsche Cayenne earns a 5/5 user rating, and it backs that up with Porsche performance in a midsize SUV package. The overview points to a polished, more advanced third-generation model with a broad powertrain spread, standard all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic, so you get strong everyday usability alongside its sporty character. It also suits you if you want a refined interior and a luxury SUV that feels more performance-focused than conventional. The overview describes the 2023 Cayenne as a mature, polished, and sturdy vehicle, which supports confidence in its overall build quality. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that maintenance can be pricey, so a well-documented service history matters.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Cayenne?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, especially if you are willing to compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 40% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 100 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $75,894 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Cayenne's resale value?

The current average of $76,901 CAD sits slightly below last year's $97,144 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Cayenne more attractive to future buyers if you purchase at the right number. If you buy near the lower end of the current range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure later. The model’s strong performance image and premium positioning should help it remain desirable, but resale will still depend on how well you manage mileage, condition, and maintenance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Cayenne or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 40% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the Cayenne in its mature, well-sorted form and you value its blend of performance and practicality. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2023 stands out as a strong choice when you want the core Cayenne experience without chasing the newest updates.
