How much does the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Is the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

With a 3.7/5 user rating, the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander looks like a practical choice if you want a compact SUV with a third row of seats as standard and a more substantial, less generic exterior than many rivals. Its appeal is strongest if you value passenger flexibility, a modern cabin, and available features such as a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, and a digital instrument panel. The trade-off is that the gas model is tuned more for comfort than speed, so performance is modest.

There are 27.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, which suggests you have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander is presented as a comfortable, well-equipped compact SUV with a quiet cabin for most driving and available advanced driver-assistance technology. It also stands out for its seven-seat layout and available plug-in hybrid efficiency, which broadens its usefulness for families.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its weaker performance and accelerated depreciation can make it less rewarding if you plan to keep it for many years.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 456 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,597 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $29,753 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,779 CAD.

That decline suggests the Outlander has been losing value faster than some shoppers may expect, which can be a plus if you're buying used. If you sell later, though, you should plan for softer resale performance than a model with stronger price retention. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that timing and condition will matter more if you want to protect your return.

Should I buy a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $25,572 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,753 CAD average.
• The 2022 feels fresh and competitive with a smooth drive and modern features.

The 2023 is the better pick if you want the newer model-year pricing context and are shopping for a seven-seat compact SUV with available plug-in hybrid appeal. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the redesigned Outlander formula.
