Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearEdmonton, AB

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 15.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 256 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance, Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

It stands out as a midsize luxury SUV that blends prestige, performance and practicality, with a high-quality interior and top-rate technology. The ride quality is a major strength, and the handling is described as agile, which suits you if you want comfort without giving up responsiveness.

The trade-offs are worth noting: AMG models are thirsty and expensive, options can quickly push the price upward, and regenerative braking brings only modest range gains in the hybrid.

The model’s 37.5% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still attractive listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLE is presented as a well-built luxury SUV with a cabin that feels built to last, and its quiet, supple driving character supports that impression. The expert testing also highlights smooth power delivery and seamless transmission behaviour, both of which point to a polished ownership experience.

Its dependability story is helped by the way the powertrain and cabin systems are described as refined and easy to live with. If you’re considering a used one, the main long-term ownership risk is that luxury features and higher-spec versions can bring higher running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin quality is a major draw, but the base setup may leave you wanting more of the premium touches and equipment that make the GLE feel special.
• Powertrain: You can find turbocharged four- and six-cylinder options, plus a plug-in hybrid with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, electric motor and 23.3-kWh battery pack.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, hands-free park assist, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, and a driver attention monitor.
• Infotainment: The MBUX system uses twin 12.3-inch screens, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid is rated at 4.1 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres in hybrid mode, with a combined figure of 9.9 L/100 km and an electric range of 77 km.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 3 trim levels: GLE 350 4Matic, GLE 450 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 4Matic+.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350 4Matic: This is the value-focused choice if you want the GLE experience without stretching into the pricier performance models. It gives you the core luxury-SUV formula, and it suits you best if you care more about comfort and prestige than maximum output.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger balance of performance and everyday usability. It sits in the sweet spot for buyers who want more punch without jumping to AMG pricing.
• AMG GLE 53 4Matic+: Choose this if you want the most performance-oriented version in the lineup and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is comprehensive, with several advanced driver-assistance features standard and additional systems available on higher-spec versions.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 256 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $67,524 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $67,718 CAD sits slightly below last year's $80,606 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper future resale upside if you sell too soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the model’s value has softened meaningfully, so timing and condition will matter more than usual. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should still hold attention, especially if they’re priced competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• A subtle refresh keeps it competitive, while the cabin quality and technology remain major strengths.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $60,374 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $67,718 CAD average.
• It offers a distinctive SUV-coupe shape that gives it a more style-led presence.

The bottom line: If you want the broader appeal of the 2023 GLE’s updated positioning and softer pricing, it’s the better all-round pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly route.
