Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 12.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 337 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

It is aimed at you if you want a compact luxury SUV that feels polished, upscale, and comfortable rather than flashy. The redesign is conservative, but the interior upgrades help keep it near the top of the small luxury SUV class.

The main trade-offs are that it does not offer much cargo space and it is not very exciting to drive. If you value refinement, premium materials, and everyday comfort more than sporty character, those compromises may be easy to accept.

36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive example.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLC is presented as a refined, comfort-focused luxury SUV, and the expert assessment highlights its premium feel and strong overall execution. Its smooth power delivery and quiet cabin also support the impression of a vehicle built for easy daily use.

The powertrain is described as smooth and linear, with confident passing power and no stress when merging. That kind of behaviour usually points to a drivetrain that should feel reassuring in regular ownership.

Mercedes also backs the cabin with a strong materials quality and solid construction, which is a good sign for durability. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright mechanical drama and more about whether you can live with the GLC’s limited practicality and comfort-first tuning over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLC 300 is the redesigned model, while the GLC Coupe carries over with an older interior and different body style. The Coupe also comes standard with cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera, which are not standard on the new GLC 300.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with a 9-speed automatic and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada. It is tuned for smooth, comfortable acceleration rather than sporty urgency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. The optional Intelligent Drive package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist.
• Infotainment: The new cabin centres on an 11.9-inch touchscreen, and standard connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is modern and responsive, but the screen placement and touch-heavy controls can be distracting.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 is estimated at 10.4 L/100 km in city driving, 9.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.8 combined.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 1 trim level: GLC 300.

Here's the short version:

The GLC 300 is the only standard GLC trim here, and it is the one to focus on if you want the redesigned SUV with the best balance of comfort, premium materials, and efficiency. It delivers the core Mercedes experience without pushing you into the older Coupe body style or higher-performance variants.

The safety package is straightforward: you get forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. If you want more advanced assistance features, look for the optional Intelligent Drive package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 337 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,371 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $48,371 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,390 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you are buying now, but it also means future resale values may face some pressure if the market stays competitive. For a seller, the current trend suggests you may need to price carefully to stand out.

The GLC’s appeal should still support demand because it combines a premium cabin, comfort, and strong efficiency. If you keep the vehicle in good condition and maintain it well, those traits should help it remain attractive to used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2023 GLC does not yet have crash-test results from NHTSA or IIHS for the redesigned SUV.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. You can add adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist with the optional Intelligent Drive package.

The Coupe version adds cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera as standard equipment. That means the new GLC 300 has a slightly lighter standard safety list than the Coupe in some areas.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign keeps the cabin upscale and the ride comfort-focused.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $52,649 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $48,371 CAD average.
• It adds more polished everyday usability and stronger safety credentials.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the lower entry price and are happy with the redesigned GLC’s comfort-first personality. Consider the 2024 if you are willing to pay more for a newer take with broader appeal and added refinement.
