Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearMarkham, ON

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 12.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 340 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

It is aimed at you if you want a polished, upscale small luxury SUV that feels refined rather than flashy. The cabin materials are a strength, and the overall redesign keeps the GLC at the top of the class for buyers who value comfort and quality in everyday use.

The main trade-offs are that it does not offer much cargo space and it is not very exciting to drive. Those compromises matter less if your priority is a smooth, premium commuter rather than a sporty SUV.

33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLC’s appeal is built around comfort, premium materials, and a refined driving experience, which are all traits that usually support confidence in daily ownership. Its powertrain is smooth and the cabin is quiet, so it feels engineered for easy, low-stress use.

The performance notes also point to a calm, composed SUV rather than one that feels strained or overworked. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that some desirable features and convenience tech are not standard, so you should verify equipment carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLC 300 is the redesigned model, while the Coupe models are carryovers with a different roofline and an older interior layout. The base SUV has the newer cabin design and a more modern infotainment setup, while the Coupe keeps some usability advantages but is less practical overall.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with a 9-speed automatic and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada. It is tuned for smooth, comfortable acceleration rather than sporty urgency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. The optional Intelligent Drive package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist. The Coupe comes standard with cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera.
• Infotainment: The new setup centres on an 11.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is responsive and the voice recognition is strong, but the screen placement is lower on the dash and the touch controls can be distracting.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 is estimated at 10.4 L/100 km in city driving, 9.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 9.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 1 trim level: GLC 300.

Here's the short version:

The GLC 300 is the one to focus on if you want the redesigned SUV with the best balance of comfort, premium materials, and efficiency. It is the best-value choice because it delivers the new cabin, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, and the smoothest everyday driving experience without stepping into the more niche Coupe body style.

The Coupe models are worth considering only if you specifically want the older roofline and can live with the trade-offs in practicality and cabin layout.

The safety package is stronger if you add the optional Intelligent Drive package, since several key driver-assistance features are not standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 340 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,749 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $48,749 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,461 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium right away. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside risk than someone who bought when prices were higher.

The GLC’s strong comfort, premium feel, and broad appeal should still help it attract shoppers in the used market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2023 GLC 300 has not yet been rated by NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. If you want more advanced assistance features, the optional Intelligent Drive package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, lane change assist, and emergency stop assist.

The Coupe adds cross-traffic alerts and a surround-view camera as standard, while the rest of its Intelligent Drive content matches the SUV. For used buyers, the main thing to check is whether the optional driver-assistance package is fitted, since several desirable features are not standard.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign is conservative, but the bigger changes inside keep it at the top of the small luxury SUV class.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $54,564 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $48,749 CAD average.
• It adds a more polished ride and stronger convenience focus.

The bottom line: If you want the best value, the 2023 is the smarter buy because prices are softer and the core luxury experience is already strong. If you are willing to pay more for a newer-year alternative with a more polished ride, the 2024 is the better secondary path.
