Used 2023 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearOrleans, ON

How much does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 13.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 792 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, fun driving experience, and distinctive character. The main trade-offs are limited storage space and unimpressive on-road performance, and the Wrangler’s appeal is strongest if you value adventure-minded use over everyday polish. For buyers who want a rugged SUV with a long Jeep heritage and serious trail focus, that mix makes sense. There are 31.6% good or great deals in the market, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable and trouble-free for the kind of use Wrangler shoppers expect, especially when it comes to off-road enjoyment and day-to-day confidence in the ownership experience. The expert review also reinforces that the Wrangler is built around durable, proven hardware, which supports its reputation for long-term use. Jeep’s first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house. For used buyers, the bigger ownership risk is not outright reliability so much as accepting the Wrangler’s compromises and checking that the specific example was maintained properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, and Wrangler Sahara do not get locking differentials or meaty tyres, so you should check carefully for the equipment you want before you buy.
• Powertrain: You can choose from multiple engine options, including a standard Pentastar V6, a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.0-litre Ecodiesel V6, a 6.4-litre V8, and a plug-in hybrid setup with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack.
• Safety package: The standard equipment includes a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models, and lane-keeping assist is not offered.
• Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen is standard, while an 8.4-inch touchscreen is available. Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are included, and over-the-air updates apply only to the Uconnect system.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel consumption varies widely, from the high 10s to the low 12s in litres per 100 kilometres combined. The diesel can achieve 9.5 L/100 km combined, while the plug-in hybrid comes in at 4.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2023 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 6 trim levels: Sport, Willys Sport, Sahara, Sahara High Altitude, Rubicon, and Rubicon 392.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it leaves out key off-road hardware such as locking differentials and aggressive dirt tyres, so it makes sense only if you want the Wrangler experience at the lowest starting point.
• Willys Sport: This trim adds more personality than the base model, but the content still points to missing off-road hardware compared with the better-equipped versions.
• Sahara: This is the more comfort-leaning choice, but it still lacks the trail-focused hardware that makes the Wrangler shine.
• Sahara High Altitude: This is the best fit if you want more safety equipment, since it is one of the trims where blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard.
• Rubicon: This is the best-value trim for serious buyers, because it adds front and rear differential lockers, a front disconnecting sway bar, rock rails, and skid plates.
• Rubicon 392: This is the performance-focused choice, with the most extreme powertrain and the strongest straight-line character, but it is also the thirstiest and most expensive path.

Safety equipment is not evenly spread across the range, so you should verify exactly which driver-assistance features are included on the trim you are considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 792 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.52% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,512 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $38,512 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,533 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if prices continue to ease. If you own one for the long haul, the Wrangler’s strong enthusiast appeal should help support demand, especially for well-equipped examples. Trim choice and condition will matter a lot, since buyers tend to pay more for the versions with the right off-road hardware and desirable features.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns Good and Marginal IIHS ratings across its crash worthiness, crash avoidance and mitigation, and seat belts and child restraints categories, and some headlights receive a Poor ranking. It earns four-star ratings for a frontal crash test and three-star ratings for rollover from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment includes a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models, while lane-keeping assist is not offered. If safety is a top priority, you should pay close attention to trim level and option content.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year keeps the Wrangler’s core off-road focus while offering multiple powertrain choices.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,437 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $38,512 CAD average.
• It delivers distinctive styling and strong off-road character.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,822 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $38,512 CAD average.
• It adds a more modern feel with a refresh focused on technology, safety, and refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price and current-market selection, the 2023 is the sensible pick. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the easier entry point, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer refresh and can stretch your budget.
