Used 2023 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearLongueuil, QC

How much does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 13.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 798 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 7.83/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise the Wrangler’s off-road capability and fun driving experience, and many also appreciate its distinctive character and multiple powertrain choices. The main trade-offs are high-speed handling, pricing, and the lack of features such as seat warmers.

That lines up with the Wrangler’s use case: it is built for adventure-minded drivers who value trail ability over everyday polish. With 32.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, you may find some attractive examples if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable for the kind of use it is built for, with repeated praise for its off-road capability and fun, confidence-inspiring character. The expert assessment reinforces that this is a rugged, purpose-built SUV with solid front and rear axles and a five-link suspension system, which supports its long-term durability story.

If you are buying used, the main ownership risk is not outright reliability so much as accepting the Wrangler’s compromises and checking that the specific example has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Some popular trim levels, including the Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, and Wrangler Sahara, do not get locking differentials or meaty tyres, so equipment can vary more than you might expect.
• Powertrain: Your standard Wrangler comes with a Pentastar V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, or a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Torque lovers may prefer the 3.0-litre Ecodiesel V6, while the Rubicon 392 brings a 6.4-litre V8 and the 4xe adds two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack.
• Safety package: The mandatory rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control are standard. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, these features are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered at all.
• Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen running Jeep’s Uconnect infotainment system is standard, while the larger 8.4-inch touchscreen is available on some models. Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are included, and over-the-air updates apply only to the Uconnect system.
• Fuel efficiency: Expect anywhere from the high 10s to the low 12s in litres per 100 kilometres combined, depending on body style and engine choice. The 3.0-litre diesel can achieve 9.5 L/100 km combined, while the plug-in Wrangler 4xe comes in with 4.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2023 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 4 trim levels: Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, Wrangler Sahara, and Wrangler Rubicon.

Here's the short version:

• Wrangler Sport: This is the entry point, but it skips key hardware such as differential lockers and aggressive dirt tyres, and it does not even include power windows. It makes sense only if you want the lowest-cost way into the Wrangler name.
• Wrangler Willys Sport: This trim adds some personality, but the available information still points to the same core compromise as the Sport: you are not getting the more serious off-road hardware that makes the Wrangler shine.
• Wrangler Sahara: This is the more comfort-oriented choice, but it is still one of the trims called out for not getting locking differentials or meaty tyres. It suits you if you want the Wrangler look with a less hardcore setup.
• Wrangler Rubicon: This is the best-value trim for serious buyers. It brings front and rear differential lockers, a front disconnecting sway bar for better articulation, rock rails, and skid plates, and it is the trim the expert recommends for buyers who know they will spend a lot of time in the rocks.

Some safety features are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models, while elsewhere they are part of an option package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards shoppers who compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right example.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 798 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,694 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $38,694 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,927 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Wrangler has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the short term, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, equipment, and condition rather than just the badge alone.

Because the Wrangler has strong enthusiast appeal and a clear identity, well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. The trims with the right off-road hardware are likely to hold demand better than more lightly equipped versions.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns Good and Marginal IIHS ratings, and it earns four-star ratings for frontal crash and three-star ratings for rollover from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Jeep’s standard safety equipment includes a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered at all.

The safety picture is mixed, and the IIHS headlight results on some trims are a notable weak point. If safety is a top priority, you will want to pay close attention to trim and option content.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines classic Wrangler capability with a broad engine lineup and strong off-road hardware.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,594 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $38,694 CAD average.
• It delivers the Wrangler’s distinctive removable-body character and strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,123 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $38,694 CAD average.
• It adds a more modern feel with a refresh focused on technology, safety, and refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the sensible default. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2022 is the value play; if you want a newer-feeling Wrangler and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
