Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wagoneer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 146 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,359 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer's resale value?

The current average of $56,756 CAD sits slightly below last year's $67,726 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should focus on buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. Demand should remain supported by the model’s positive owner feedback.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wagoneer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $48,618 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $56,756 CAD average.
• It offers a roomy, comfort-focused cabin with strong third-row appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the newer market position and are shopping for a deal in a softened price environment. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you find one in good condition.
