Is the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer a good car?

That kind of feedback usually points to a vehicle that meets expectations well in everyday use. The market also shows 30.5% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

For used buyers, that kind of owner approval can reduce the risk of disappointment, though you should still verify maintenance history and overall condition before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wagoneer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 151 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,345 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer's resale value?

The current average of $56,451 CAD sits slightly below last year's $67,521 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale expectations more conservative if you buy at today’s average. If values stabilise, a well-priced purchase could help protect your position later. Strong demand for this model year should still support resale better than a weaker-rated alternative.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wagoneer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $48,368 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $56,451 CAD average.
• It launched with a comfort-focused cabin and strong third-row appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value path and may suit you well if you can live with an older model year.
