Used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L for Sale nearLondon, ON

How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L cost?

Prices have softened 12.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 315 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.83/5, and the expert rating is 8.17/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its stylish design, spaciousness, and comfortable features, and they also frequently mention strong engine performance and towing capability. That lines up well with the Grand Cherokee L’s family-friendly, premium-leaning mission, especially if you want a three-row SUV with more presence than many mainstream rivals. The main trade-offs are the underwhelming base engine and the irritating transmission, so it suits you best if comfort, space, and upscale feel matter more than outright powertrain polish. Only 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially because it is described as comfortable, spacious, and solidly satisfying for families. The expert evaluation also supports that sense of dependability by highlighting the Grand Cherokee L’s composed chassis and confident handling, which suggest it is built to feel stable and reassuring in daily use. Jeep also notes that the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps soften early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about whether you can live with the base engine and transmission behaviour.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Laredo and Altitude trims use an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 10-inch digital instrument panel, while the Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve get a 10.1-inch touchscreen and full-screen maps on the instrument panel. Lower trims miss some of the richer cabin presentation and larger-screen tech that make the upper trims feel more premium.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 makes 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the optional 5.7-litre Hemi V8 makes 357 horsepower and 390 pound-feet. The V8 is the better choice if you want stronger towing and smoother response.
• Safety package: Forward emergency braking, rear park assist and emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control are standard. Front cross-traffic braking, a backup camera washer, and 360-degree cameras are optional on Limited and Overland trims, while night vision is limited to Summit and Summit Reserve.
• Infotainment: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all trim levels. The lower trims use an 8.4-inch touchscreen, while higher trims move to a 10.1-inch unit with navigation and a more upscale presentation.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 4x4 model is rated at 13.0 L/100 km in the city, 9.4 on the highway, and 11.3 combined. The V8 is rated at 16.7 L/100 km city, 10.9 highway, and 14.1 combined.

Which 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is offered in 6 trim levels: Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve.

Here's the short version:

• Laredo: This is the entry point if you want the Grand Cherokee L’s space, classic Jeep styling, and standard wireless smartphone connectivity without paying for the richer cabin and larger screen found higher up. It makes sense if you want the most affordable way into the lineup.
• Altitude: Choose this if you want a little more visual presence and a more upscale feel than the Laredo without jumping all the way to the pricier trims. It keeps the core family-SUV mission intact while adding more style.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it brings the 10.1-inch touchscreen and navigation, which make the cabin feel much more complete. It is the sweet spot if you want a more premium experience without going all the way to the luxury-focused upper trims.
• Overland: Pick this if you want a more luxurious Grand Cherokee L with more available tech and comfort features, including optional 360-degree cameras and backup camera washer. It suits you if you value equipment and refinement over bargain pricing.
• Summit: This is for buyers who want a clearly upscale cabin and access to features like night vision. It is a strong choice if you want the Grand Cherokee L to feel as premium as possible without going to the top trim.
• Summit Reserve: This is the most luxurious version and the one to buy if you want the fullest expression of the model’s premium interior, tech, and comfort features. It is the right pick if you want the best-equipped Grand Cherokee L and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but some advanced features are reserved for higher trims, so it is worth checking exactly which driver-assistance items are included on the specific vehicle you are considering.

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should compare listings carefully and move quickly when you find a strong one.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 315 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,687 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $40,687 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,563 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top dollar immediately. Still, the Grand Cherokee L’s premium positioning and strong feature content help it hold appeal among shoppers looking for a three-row SUV with a more upscale feel. If you buy well now, you may benefit from the model’s established desirability when it comes time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L safe?

The 2023 Grand Cherokee L scored a Top Safety Pick+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, but only for models built after May 2023—that's when Jeep reinforced the frame for the SUV to score higher in side-impact tests. It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward emergency braking, rear park assist and emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control are standard. Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds a stronger safety story, including a Top Safety Pick+ result for later-built models.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,837 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $40,687 CAD average.
• It comes across as a thoroughly composed three-row SUV with a premium feel and distinctive personality.

The bottom line: If you want the safer bet on updated market pricing and a stronger year-specific safety result, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2022 remains a compelling alternative with much of the same upscale, family-friendly appeal.
