Used 2023 Honda Accord for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2023 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 12.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 113 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord a good car?

The 2023 Honda Accord is a strong choice if you want a traditional family sedan that prioritises driving enjoyment, interior space, and safety, though its value proposition is more mixed than its core strengths. It earns 3.5/5 from users and 6.7/10 from our experts.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It is described as an excellent example of the traditional four-door family car, with a spacious interior and a fun-to-drive character. The trade-offs are that it does not offer all-wheel drive, a third-row seat, or a large cargo area, and its styling is not especially adventurous. It is also presented as comparatively expensive, with several minor comfort issues and questionable value for the money.

Only 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly bargain-heavy.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord reliable?

The 2023 Honda Accord is presented as a robust, well-engineered sedan that should be easy to live with over time. The cabin and suspension are described as solid, and the car’s dynamics feel composed and confident in everyday driving.

Honda’s 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is described as a refined version of the previous-generation engine, and the Accord’s structure is said to feel robust. The suspension filters out harshness well, and the car is easy to drive in urban and suburban settings. Honda Sensing also behaves with accuracy, refinement, and sophistication.

The Accord’s standard maintenance and ownership story is not framed as especially low-cost, and the model is positioned as expensive relative to rivals. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability concerns and more about whether the purchase price and running costs make sense for your budget.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Accord?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base EX is the gas-only version in Canada, and it is described as nicely outfitted but not especially upscale. You get durable cloth seats, a dark grille, LED headlights, a pewter wheel finish, and a cabin with digital instrumentation and a touchscreen, but the overall presentation is more conservative than flashy.
• Powertrain: The Accord EX uses a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder with 192 horsepower and a CVT. It is adequate rather than quick, and the front-wheel-drive layout means there is no all-wheel-drive option.
• Safety package: Every 2023 Accord has Honda Sensing, including adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a reversing camera with three views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The suite is standard across the lineup.
• Infotainment: The EX has a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen. It includes Bluetooth, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, HondaLink connected services, Wi-Fi access, an SOS emergency call button, and two USB-C ports. Wireless smartphone integration and OTA capability are not mentioned.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Accord EX should return 7.3 L/100 km combined. The hybrid alternative is rated at 5.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2023 Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2023 Honda Accord is offered in 1 trim level: EX.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the only gas-only Accord trim in Canada, and it is the one to focus on if you want the standard 2023 Accord experience. It brings the 1.5-litre turbo engine, Honda Sensing, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a well-finished cabin with cloth seats and metal mesh trim. It is the right pick if you want the core Accord formula without stepping into the hybrid lineup.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim to get Honda Sensing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,498 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $27,505 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,509 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the Accord easier to justify on the used market today. If you buy at the current average or below, you are starting from a lower cost base than a year ago, which may help soften depreciation pressure later. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped relative to comparable listings.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord safe?

The 2023 Honda Accord earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2023 Accord has Honda Sensing, a collection of advanced driving assistance systems that includes adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, and a reversing camera with three different views.

The system is described as accurate, refined, and sophisticated, with clear graphics that make status easy to read at a glance. The lane-centring system can waver a bit near highway off-ramps, and the lane-departure warning is subtle rather than forceful, but the overall safety package is a major strength.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.71% compared with last year.
• It is the redesigned 11th-generation Accord, and the expert review says it remains an excellent, if comparatively expensive, example of the traditional four-door family car.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Accord and value its mix of space, safety, and driving enjoyment, the 2023 is the right year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2023’s softer pricing and decent deal availability make it the stronger buy for shoppers who want this generation’s core strengths.
