Is the 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid earns a 4.9/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its impressive fuel efficiency, smooth driving experience, spacious interior, and modern safety features. That lines up well with the Accord Hybrid’s role as a polished family sedan that’s easy to live with and appealing if you want strong efficiency without giving up everyday comfort.

The main trade-offs are that all-wheel drive isn’t available, the Touring trim is pricey, and rear headroom is lacking. Even so, the model’s well-rounded character makes it a strong fit if you value refinement, practicality, and efficiency over outright performance or all-weather traction.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable, efficient, and smooth to live with over time. That kind of praise matters for used buyers because it suggests the Accord Hybrid is the sort of vehicle you can count on for daily driving without much drama.

The expert drive notes reinforce that impression by describing the hybrid system as smooth and efficient, with seamless switching between electric and gas power. Honda also highlights regular-gasoline compatibility and strong value, which can help keep ownership straightforward.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about reliability and more about whether the higher purchase price still fits your budget.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid?

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 51 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,922 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $33,272 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,113 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make the car easier to purchase now but may also mean future resale values are still adjusting. If you buy at today’s average, you’re starting from a lower price base than last year’s shoppers did, which can help limit depreciation exposure.

For a future seller, the key question is whether the market stabilizes after this softer period. A model with strong efficiency, broad appeal, and a good reputation for satisfaction should remain easier to move than a less popular sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines excellent fuel economy with a long list of standard safety features and agile steering.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,149 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $33,272 CAD average.
• It adds a roomier interior and a huge trunk.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2023 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and the model still brings strong efficiency, safety, and owner satisfaction. If you can stretch for a newer model and want more space, the 2024 is the better path for price-insensitive buyers.
