Is the 2023 GMC Yukon reliable?

The 2023 GMC Yukon stands out as a full-size SUV that blends premium presentation with serious utility. Owners describe it as quality-built, smooth-riding, and fuel-efficient, and those are the kinds of traits that usually matter most when you plan to live with a vehicle every day. Some owners also mention concerns about transmission issues and engine recalls, so you should pay close attention to service records and any open recall work before you buy. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth factoring into your decision, especially if you want a trouble-free SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 154 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $71,803 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $72,082 CAD sits slightly below last year's $77,280 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Yukon has softened enough to improve your buying position today. If you purchase at the current average or below, you may have less downside risk than buyers who paid closer to last year's level. For a future seller, though, the current market still reflects a premium full-size SUV, so condition, mileage, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to resell.

Should I buy a 2023 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.73% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $63,707 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $72,082 CAD average.
• The 2022 adds a standard 12-inch driver information centre and enhanced connectivity.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the newer market position and are comfortable paying more for it. If your priority is value, the 2022 is the better starting point because it costs less and still brings useful modern features.
