Should I buy a 2023 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,540 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $43,272 CAD average.
• It adds upgraded interior and technology.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the better value and a wide pool of listings to compare. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter starting point; if you want the newer cabin and tech improvements, the 2024 is the better upgrade path.
