The owner feedback highlights a car that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centred on performance, value, and the overall driving experience. Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Mustang?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Inventory: There are 192 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.98% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $44,218 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,112 CAD.

That mild decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more selectively today. For a future seller, it also means resale performance may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum alone.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $52,259 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $44,218 CAD average.
• It adds upgraded interior and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2023 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability and excellent owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for newer tech and interior upgrades, the 2024 is the better secondary path.
