Used 2023 Dodge Durango for Sale nearSaskatoon, SK

How much does the 2023 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 10.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 436 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Dodge Durango earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its styling, powerful performance, and spaciousness, and many also call out the comfortable ride and strong gas mileage from the V6. For shoppers who want a three-row SUV with a more distinctive, muscle-car personality, the Durango fits that brief well.

The trade-offs are clear: the interior quality can feel lacking in places, especially in the back seat, and depreciation has been a concern for some owners. It also suits buyers who value style and performance in a practical SUV body more than outright efficiency or a fully loaded standard feature set.

With 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that can feel dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, with many drivers highlighting the V6’s efficiency and the Durango’s comfortable ride over the long term. The expert assessment also notes that Dodge backs the Durango with a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which helps support confidence in ownership.

That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, especially on higher-output versions that may have had a harder life.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Dodge Durango?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SXT is the most stripped-back version, while higher trims add more comfort and convenience. The Citadel stands out for its more luxurious feel, including Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row captain’s chairs.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 is the efficiency-focused choice, while the 5.7-litre Hemi V8, 6.4-litre Hemi V8, and supercharged 6.2-litre V8 bring progressively stronger performance. All models use an eight-speed automatic transmission, and AWD is standard in Canada.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard on all trim levels. Forward collision warning is not standard, while lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking are also not standard; the SXT Plus grade adds the latter two technologies.
• Infotainment: Lower trims get an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Starting with the GT grade, you get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus the newer Uconnect 5 system.
• Fuel efficiency: The base V6 is rated at 13.0 L/100 km in the city, 9.4 on the highway, and 11.3 combined. Fuel consumption rises to 16.7/10.9/14.1 with the 5.7-litre V8, 18.3/12.2/15.6 with the 6.4-litre V8, and 20.5/13.8/17.4 with the supercharged 6.2-litre Hellcat engine.

Which 2023 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2023 Dodge Durango is offered in 5 trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, and SRT 392.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the entry point, and it makes the most sense if you want the Durango’s styling, standard AWD, and V6 power without chasing expensive extras. It’s the trim to start with if you’re shopping on value and can live with the more basic infotainment and equipment list.
• GT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the newer Uconnect 5 system. If you want the most modern tech without jumping into V8 territory, this is the one to focus on.
• R/T: Choose this if you want the 5.7-litre Hemi V8 and the stronger performance that comes with it. It suits you if the Durango’s appeal is as much about muscle-car character as family utility.
• Citadel: This is the comfort-first choice, with more upscale interior materials and available luxury touches like Nappa leather, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated second-row captain’s chairs. It’s the right pick if you want a more premium-feeling Durango.
• SRT 392: This is the performance-focused trim, with the 6.4-litre Hemi V8 and the strongest track-style attitude in the lineup short of the Hellcat variants mentioned elsewhere in the model’s description. It’s for buyers who care most about power and acceleration.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard across the lineup, but more advanced driver-assistance features are not standard on every trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly when you find a strong one.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 436 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.37% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,477 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $42,547 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,468 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about what their Durango can command. If you buy at today’s average, there may be less room for appreciation later unless the vehicle is especially well kept or unusually desirable.

The Durango’s broad appeal helps support demand, especially for shoppers who want a three-row SUV with strong performance and distinctive styling. Still, the current trend points to a market where resale value will depend heavily on trim, condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Dodge Durango safe?

The 2023 Dodge Durango received top Good marks from IIHS in the original-format moderate front overlap, side, and roof strength tests, but it earned a Marginal score in the driver-side small overlap front test. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it a four-star overall safety rating, with five-star ratings in the side crash test and four-star ratings in the frontal crash test; AWD versions also received a three-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are standard on all trim levels. Forward collision warning is not standard, and lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking are also not standard, though the SXT Plus grade includes the latter two technologies.

The mixed crash-test results and limited standard driver-assistance content are the main safety caveats to keep in mind if safety is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2023 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model year adds standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel in Canada, along with new colours and the return of the Durango SRT Hellcat as a regular production model.

The bottom line: If you want the Durango’s mix of three-row practicality, strong performance, and updated Canadian equipment, the 2023 is a compelling choice. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2023 stands out for shoppers who want the latest version of this formula and are willing to pay for it.
