Used 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearAbbotsford, BC

How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 14.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 299 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Yes — with a 4.91/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating, the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer looks like a strong fit if you want an affordable small SUV with broad appeal. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its features, comfort, driving dynamics, heated seats, safety technology, and spaciousness. The Trailblazer also stands out for its stylish design and easy-to-use technology, which helps it feel more polished than many value-focused rivals.

The main trade-offs are the irritating transmission and poor fuel economy, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, its entry-level-SUV positioning makes it a sensible choice if you want practicality and value rather than outright performance.

With 28.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still enough market flexibility to find a competitive example.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with buyers highlighting comfort, features, and the kind of day-to-day usability that helps a vehicle feel easy to count on. The expert review reinforces that impression by describing the Trailblazer as a practical small SUV with a strong value proposition and a well-sorted cabin.

Chevy’s warranty coverage adds some reassurance for used buyers, but you should still pay close attention to service history and the condition of the transmission, since that is one of the model’s known weak spots.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LS is the entry point, while the LT adds more flexibility, and the Activ and RS bring distinct styling themes. The Activ leans rugged with a model-specific front fascia, standard roof rails, and chunky 17-inch tires, while the RS gets blacked-out trim, a mesh grille, and dual exhaust outlets. Base-trim shoppers should check carefully for feature gaps versus the higher trims, especially if you want a more upscale look or extra convenience equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder with front-wheel drive, or an optional 1.3-litre turbo-three with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Front-wheel-drive models use a CVT, while all-wheel-drive models use a nine-speed automatic. The 1.3-litre AWD setup is the more flexible choice, but the transmission can be rough at times.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver. Blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are optional, so check whether the example you’re considering has the driver-assistance features you want.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. An 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, a Bose audio system, rear-seat USB ports, and wireless phone charging are optional, so make sure the vehicle has the screen size and connectivity features you expect.
• Fuel efficiency: NRCan ratings range from 7.7 L/100 km combined for the 1.3-litre FWD model to 8.4 L/100 km combined for the 1.3-litre AWD model, with the 1.2-litre FWD model rated at 7.8 L/100 km combined. Real-world consumption can be higher, especially with AWD.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the value-focused starting point, and it makes sense if you want the Trailblazer’s core practicality and standard safety tech at the lowest entry price. It is best if you care more about affordability than extra style or convenience features.
• LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it opens the door to the 1.3-litre engine and AWD, giving you more flexibility without jumping straight to the pricier appearance-focused trims.
• Activ: Choose this if you want the most distinctive rugged look, along with the model-specific front fascia, roof rails, and 17-inch all-terrain-style tires. It suits you best if style and a more adventurous appearance matter most.
• RS: Pick this if you prefer the sportier visual treatment, including blacked-out trim, a mesh grille, and dual exhaust outlets. It is the right choice if you want the most aggressive appearance in the lineup.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, but several driver-assistance features remain optional, so check the equipment list carefully on any used example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The market looks moderately favourable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 299 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,999 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $24,109 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,060 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Trailblazer has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help keep demand steady in the near term. For a future seller, that means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment level rather than broad market momentum alone.

Because the model has a clear value proposition and strong owner satisfaction, well-kept examples should remain appealing to shoppers looking for an affordable small SUV. Trim choice and feature content will matter, especially if your vehicle has the optional safety and tech equipment buyers tend to want.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in the frontal and side crash-test categories and four-star ratings in rollover crash testing.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and Teen Driver. Optional driver-assistance features include blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.

One caveat is that the standard halogen headlights were rated only “Average,” while the optional LED headlights scored “Good.”

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines stylish design, easy-to-use technology, and strong value for money.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,109 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $24,109 CAD average.
• It adds a heated steering wheel and new paint colours.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,503 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $24,109 CAD average.
• It improves passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market availability, the 2023 is the smart default. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is worth a look; if you want a newer-feeling package with broader polish, the 2024 may justify the extra cost.
