Used 2023 Audi Q5 for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2023 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 17.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 392 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2023 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Audi Q5 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, advanced technology, and smooth performance, and they also like the stylish design and comfortable interior. The main trade-off from the expert side is sluggish initial acceleration, along with the fact that some rivals offer a more immediate response.

For you, that means the Q5 makes the most sense if you want a refined small luxury SUV that balances everyday comfort with upscale presentation rather than outright pace. With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe the Q5 as smooth, luxurious, and comfortable, with a reputation that points to dependable day-to-day use. The expert assessment also highlights sturdy build quality and a cabin that stays quiet over rough roads, which supports the impression of a well-made SUV you can count on.

If you’re shopping used, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic durability and more about whether the premium running costs fit your budget.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The entry trim gives you leather seating, heated front seats, a 10-inch touchscreen, and standard all-wheel drive, while higher trims add more convenience and luxury features. The mid-range trim is the best-value choice because it adds a good amount of tech and safety equipment without pushing the price too far.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 201 horsepower, a stronger 261-hp version, or a plug-in hybrid with 362 hp and an estimated 37 kilometres of electric-only range. All versions use a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and standard Quattro all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: The standard suite includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors. Higher trims add lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera system, traffic jam assist, matrix-design LED headlights, a head-up display, semi-automated park assist, and a traffic sign reader.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and available SiriusXM. Mid-range trims add Audi’s virtual cockpit, and the system can be monitored remotely through Audi Connect Care with a Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The 40 TFSI is rated at 10.2 L/100 km city, 8.2 highway, and 9.3 combined. The 45 TFSI is rated at 10.6 L/100 km city, 8.2 highway, and 9.5 combined. The plug-in hybrid is rated at 9.0 L/100 km combined once the battery is depleted.

Which 2023 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Komfort, Progressiv, Technik.

Here's the short version:

• Komfort: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Q5 experience with standard all-wheel drive, leather seating, heated front seats, and the 10-inch touchscreen. It makes sense if you want the Q5’s comfort and refinement at the lowest price, but it leaves some desirable tech and driver-assistance upgrades on the table.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim because it adds a good amount of tech and safety equipment, including lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera system, traffic jam assist, and the virtual cockpit. If you want the sweet spot between price and features, this is the one to target.
• Technik: This is the most luxurious choice, adding matrix-design LED headlights, a head-up display, semi-automated park assist, and a traffic sign reader. It suits you best if you want the most complete Q5 and are willing to pay for it.

Rear-seat side impact airbags are offered as an option on all trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi Q5?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 392 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,602 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $34,964 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,146 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you purchase at a strong used price, you may have less depreciation left to absorb than a buyer who paid closer to last year’s average. For a future seller, that means condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter even more when it comes time to list the vehicle.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2023 Audi Q5 was awarded five out of five stars for overall, frontal, and side protection from NHTSA, and it scored four stars in rollover tests. It also earned a Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

All Q5 models come with forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors. Higher trims add lane-keep assist, a surround-view camera system, traffic jam assist, matrix-design LED headlights, a head-up display, semi-automated park assist, and a traffic sign reader.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for its attractive design, standard all-wheel drive, and broad mix of comfort and technology.

The bottom line: The 2023 Audi Q5 is a strong pick if you want a refined luxury SUV and you’re comfortable trading some acceleration for comfort and equipment. If you’re price-sensitive, the softer market and decent deal availability make this a good year to shop carefully and focus on the best-equipped trim you can afford.
