With a user rating of 2/5, this model looks like a more selective buy than a broad crowd-pleaser, so you’ll want to focus on condition, pricing, and how well a specific listing fits your needs. Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, especially if you’re willing to compare listings closely and move quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 83 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,672 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $56,088 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,809 CAD.

That price movement suggests you may have less downside risk than you would in a rising market, but it also means future resale expectations should stay grounded in today’s softer pricing. If you buy near the lower end of the range, you’ll likely be in a better position when it’s time to sell. For a future seller, strong maintenance records and a clean history should matter even more when the market is already leaning lower.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.10% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the current model year and can find a well-priced example, the 2022 is worth considering now because the market has eased and there are still enough listings to compare. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it also makes sense to keep nearby model years on your shortlist and compare the best-priced listings across them before deciding.
