Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota C-HR?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 72 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,501 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota C-HR's resale value?

The current average of $24,663 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,003 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you buy now, because you may be entering at a lower cost basis than shoppers did a year ago. If prices stabilise, that could help support future resale performance. If the market stays soft, though, your upside may be more limited when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Toyota C-HR makes sense if you want a used model with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has eased from last year’s pricing. If you’re price-sensitive, keep comparing listings closely and focus on vehicles near the lower end of the current range, since that’s where the best value is most likely to show up.
