Used 2022 Porsche Macan for Sale near Saskatchewan

How much does the 2022 Porsche Macan cost?

Prices have softened 16.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 172 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan a good car?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is a strong fit if you want a compact SUV that prioritises driving character and a premium feel over maximum practicality. It earns a 3.5/5 user rating and a 7.00/10 expert rating, and the model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The Macan’s appeal comes through clearly in its sporty road manners, upscale cabin materials, and distinctive design. At the same time, the trade-offs are just as clear: it has a cramped back seat, not much cargo space, and an unimpressive infotainment system.

For shoppers who value a more engaging drive and a polished interior, that balance can make sense. The market also shows 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some flexibility if you’re shopping carefully.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan reliable?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is presented as a well-engineered SUV with no reported accuracy, refinement, or sophistication problems in its driver-assistance systems. Porsche says the model’s steering and suspension were re-tuned for improved ride and handling characteristics, and the available technologies performed as expected in testing.

The performance hardware also points to a durable, enthusiast-focused setup, with Porsche’s seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and a fully variable all-wheel-drive system designed to send more power to the rear wheels in most circumstances. The Macan S test vehicle also showed strong braking and stability under hard use.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is a performance-first SUV, so upkeep and repair costs can be higher than you might expect from a mainstream compact SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Porsche Macan?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Macan lineup includes the base model, Macan T, Macan S, and Macan GTS. The base model is the least powerful, while the Macan S adds more power and newly standard Porsche Active Suspension Management, making it the best-value choice for many buyers who want a stronger all-round package.
• Powertrain: The base Macan and Macan T use a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, while the Macan S gets a twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 and the Macan GTS uses a higher-output version of that V6. All versions use Porsche’s seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and a fully variable all-wheel-drive system.
• Safety package: Every 2022 Macan has lane-departure warning and a reversing camera. Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist are optional, and the test vehicle did not have lane-keeping assist.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 10.9-inch touchscreen with Porsche Communication Management, wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, navigation, connected services, and available WiFi hotspot access. Android Auto is not offered.
• Fuel efficiency: The Macan S test vehicle returned 13.0 L/100 km in testing, compared with an official Natural Resources Canada rating of 12.2 L/100 km.

Which 2022 Porsche Macan trim should I buy?

The 2022 Porsche Macan is offered in 4 trim levels: Macan base model, Macan T, Macan S, and Macan GTS.

Here's the short version:

• Macan base model: This is the entry point, but it is best suited to buyers who mainly want the Porsche badge and the Macan’s styling rather than the strongest performance or the richest equipment.
• Macan T: This trim adds a more performance-oriented flavour than the base model while keeping the same turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder layout, so it suits you if you want a sportier feel without stepping up to the V6 models.
• Macan S: This is the best-value pick for most shoppers because it brings the twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6, stronger performance, and newly standard Porsche Active Suspension Management.
• Macan GTS: This is the choice if you want the most powerful standard gas Macan in this lineup and are willing to pay for the top performance-focused version.

For safety equipment, lane-departure warning and a reversing camera are standard, while several other driver-assistance features remain optional across the range.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Porsche Macan?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly when you find the right one.

• Deal availability: 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 172 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $53,462 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $53,565 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,821 CAD.

That drop suggests the 2022 Macan has become more approachable for used buyers than it was a year ago. If you buy well, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation from here, especially if you choose a desirable trim and keep the vehicle in strong condition.

For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the Macan’s value is still supported by its premium badge, sporty character, and strong enthusiast appeal. Even so, performance-oriented luxury SUVs can be sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment, so a well-kept example should matter more than a basic one with a weaker history.

Is the 2022 Porsche Macan safe?

The 2022 Porsche Macan does not have published crash-test ratings from either NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2022 Macan in Canada comes with lane-departure warning and a reversing camera. Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, a surround-view camera, and Park Assist are optional, though the test vehicle did not include lane-keeping assist.

The main safety caveat is that the Macan’s driver-assistance suite is not especially advanced for the class, so if you want more comprehensive semi-automated driving support, you may want to look elsewhere.

Should I buy a 2022 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.07% compared with last year.
• The 2022 update appeals to you because it brings fresh styling details, more standard equipment, and stronger performance across the range.

The bottom line: The 2022 Macan is the right pick if you want the updated version of Porsche’s compact SUV formula and you value driving enjoyment above all else. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2022’s refreshed equipment and softer pricing make it the one to target first.
