This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Inventory: There are 199 listings available.

The current average of $27,985 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,634 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The Murano’s comfort-first positioning and upscale cabin help it stay appealing to shoppers who want a relaxed, well-equipped SUV rather than a sporty one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Murano makes the most sense if you want a comfortable, upscale-feeling midsize SUV and you value a softer ride, a premium-leaning cabin, and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you should also compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and equipment.
