Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Nissan LEAF?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 76 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.69% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Nissan LEAF's resale value?

The current average of $22,457 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,843 CAD.

That suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make resale timing more important if you're planning to sell in the near future. If prices continue to soften, future sellers may need to be more flexible on asking price to stay competitive. On the other hand, a stable, well-known model with broad shopper interest can still hold appeal when it is priced correctly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Nissan LEAF or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition and asking price.
