Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC, and it fits a compact luxury SUV that leans into comfort, practicality, and a polished premium feel. In Canada, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive adds year-round confidence, while the well-equipped cabin and broad powertrain range make it appealing if you want a refined daily driver with extra versatility. The market also shows 36.4% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 GLC does not have a standout reliability record, and that matters if you plan to keep it for the long haul. For used buyers, that means you should be especially careful about service history, maintenance records, and overall condition before committing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 371 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,156 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $38,161 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,904 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the GLC easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you purchase near the current average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still attract interest, especially because the model's premium image remains a selling point.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $34,557 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $38,161 CAD average.
• It blends performance, refinement, and comfort with broad appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $48,791 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $38,161 CAD average.
• It brings a more polished interior and stronger overall upgrades.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a comfortable, well-equipped luxury SUV with a softer price than the newer model. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter path; if you want the newer cabin and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the upgrade to consider.
