Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 110 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,904 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $32,904 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,106 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may have less room to recover today’s purchase price if the market stays subdued. If demand remains steady, the model’s current affordability could help keep it attractive to used shoppers. A lower entry price can support turnover, especially when buyers see value in a premium badge.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $29,835 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $32,904 CAD average.
• The 2021 was completely redesigned, giving it a more conventional SUV look and feel.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value play and still brings the redesigned GLA formula.
