Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 79 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $35,371 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $36,571 CAD sits slightly below last year's $38,835 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell in a few years, buying well today matters even more. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better pick if you want a model year with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has eased from last year. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with a lower average price may be the better path, but the 2023 gives you a good balance of value and confidence.
