How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA cost?

There are 75 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a compact luxury car that leans heavily into style and equipment, and it is described as subtly stylish inside and out. It also comes across as a comfortable and practical choice, especially if you want a premium-feeling car without moving up to something larger. The available hybrid options broaden its appeal if you want more powertrain choice than many rivals offer.

That said, it is not positioned as the most affordable or most engaging option in its class, so it makes the most sense if you value luxury, comfort, and a polished appearance over outright driving excitement. 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA is described as having a reliability record that is not great, so you should approach used examples with care and pay close attention to maintenance history. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth factoring into your decision, especially if you plan to keep the car for several years.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 75 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,294 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA's resale value?

The current average of $39,184 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,758 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make the car more attractive to used buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller if values continue to soften. On the other hand, the CLA’s clear luxury identity and broad appeal can help support demand when it is priced well and presented in good condition. If you buy carefully now, you may be able to balance a lower entry price with decent future marketability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLA makes the most sense if you want a stylish, comfortable compact luxury car and you can find one priced well. If you are more price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years and focusing on the best-equipped, best-priced example rather than buying the first one you see.
