How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class cost?

There are 80 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class a good car?

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around ownership, though you should still budget for the usual wear-and-tear checks on any pre-owned luxury vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 80 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,933 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class's resale value?

The current average of $30,052 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,654 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold its value more predictably than one bought at the top of the range. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want a used A-Class with solid owner approval and a market that has eased from last year. If your priority is stretching your budget, you should still compare nearby model years and focus on listings near the lower end of the current price range.
