How much does the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $43,333 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $43,193 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $49,417 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $49,420 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −12.32% |
Prices have softened 12.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 116 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited a good car?
With no expert test-drive data available for this model year, your best read comes from the market itself: the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited is trading at an average of $43,333 CAD, which is below last year’s average and points to a softer pricing environment for shoppers.
The market also shows 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a useful signal that there are still attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.
- Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 116 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $43,193 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited's resale value?
The current average of $43,333 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,420 CAD.
For a future seller, that softer pricing trend suggests you may face more competition when it comes time to list. If the market stays near current levels, strong condition, mileage, and equipment will matter more in helping your truck stand out. That also means buying well now can help protect your resale position later.
Should I buy a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2022 if:
- 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
The bottom line: If you want this specific model year, the 2022 is worth a close look because pricing has eased and there are still enough listings to compare. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye out for examples near the low end of the range, since those are the ones most likely to deliver the best value.
