Is the 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating suggests you can expect a solid ownership experience from this model year. That kind of score points to a vehicle that has satisfied many owners, which is useful when you're comparing used options.

With 32.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to find a competitively priced example.

Is the 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that suggests the ownership risk is more manageable than with a poorly reviewed model, though you should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 141 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,080 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $24,080 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,455 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold value more predictably than one bought at the top of the range. Strong condition and documented maintenance will matter more if you plan to sell later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible choice if you want a used Ford Escape Hybrid with a favourable price trend and a decent pool of listings to compare. If you're price-sensitive, keep an eye on examples near the low end of the range; if you want the best value, focus on the listings that are already marked as good or great deals.
