The Tahoe’s redesign brought a more modern cabin, improved comfort, and upgraded technology, which are all encouraging signs for used buyers. Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.81% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $62,170 CAD sits slightly below last year's $68,173 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A softer current price can also mean you have less depreciation risk if you buy near the lower end of the range. If demand stays steady, a well-kept Tahoe should remain appealing to shoppers who want a large, capable SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $51,856 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $62,170 CAD average.
• It brings a newly redesigned package with better space, technology, and driving dynamics.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the better value path, especially if you want the redesigned Tahoe experience for less money.
