How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe cost?

There are 140 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the Tahoe’s full-size SUV layout gives you serious utility with a much more modern cabin than earlier generations. It also offers improved passenger comfort, more cargo space, upgraded technology, and a broad range of powertrain choices, so it suits you well if you want one vehicle that can handle family duty and heavier jobs. With 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Tahoe’s redesigned generation brought a more modern cabin, improved comfort, and better packaging, which are all encouraging signs for used buyers. Its broad powertrain and technology mix also suggests a well-developed model year rather than a rushed launch.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is that a large, powerful SUV can bring higher running costs and more wear-related expense than a smaller vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on standout listings.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 140 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.33% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,837 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $61,464 CAD sits slightly below last year's $66,323 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more favourably today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the Tahoe’s value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well it is equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $50,529 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $61,464 CAD average.
• The redesign brought major gains in comfort, cargo space, and technology.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2022 if you want the newer market position and are focused on finding a well-priced example. If your priority is lower purchase cost, the 2021 is the better value path and still gives you the redesigned Tahoe’s core strengths.
