Used 2022 Chevrolet Malibu for Sale nearLondon, ON

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Malibu cost?

Prices have softened 11.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 176 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Malibu a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Malibu earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. You get a roomy, value-focused midsize sedan with a comfortable ride, useful features, and good fuel economy, and it suits you well if you want modern connectivity and a generous cabin without paying premium prices. The main trade-offs are a less engaging driving experience and some disappointment around the back seat layout. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a healthy amount of market value to find.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Malibu reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable and dependable, with a smooth ride and a trouble-free ownership experience that makes it easy to count on. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used sedan that should be straightforward to live with over the long term.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright reliability and more about whether the car’s comfort and performance balance matches your expectations.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Malibu?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 176 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.63% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,411 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Malibu's resale value?

The current average of $20,144 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,795 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Malibu is currently in a buyer-friendly phase, which can make it easier for you to purchase well now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking an immediate depreciation hit. The model’s value proposition is still supported by its roomy cabin and broad appeal, but future resale will depend heavily on how well you control your purchase price today.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Malibu makes the most sense if you want a roomy, value-focused midsize sedan with modern connectivity and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years as well, but the 2022 is a sensible primary target when you want a balanced mix of comfort, features, and current market value.
