There are 17 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can help reduce concern about unexpected ownership headaches, though you should still evaluate each individual vehicle carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 BMW X2?

The market currently favours buyers, with a healthy share of value-priced listings and a softer price trend than last year.

• Deal availability: 52.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 17 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.52% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,457 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 BMW X2's resale value?

The current average of $26,743 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,918 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If prices remain stable from here, a buyer who purchases near the lower end of the range could be better positioned later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 BMW X2 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 52.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with softer pricing and a decent share of good deals. If your priority is stretching your budget further, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and be ready to move quickly when you find one.
