Used 2022 Audi A4 for Sale nearOrleans, ON

How much does the 2022 Audi A4 cost?

Prices have softened 14.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 84 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Audi A4 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Technology, and Safety.

The A4 stands out as a luxury sports sedan that still feels fresh, with a rock-solid structure and modern technology that do not telegraph its age. It is also fun to drive and brings impressive technology to the table, which makes it especially appealing if you value refinement and driving enjoyment.

The main trade-offs are an underwhelming base engine and a cramped back seat, so it is less convincing if rear-seat space or outright entry-level punch matters most to you.

31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The A4’s rock-solid structure and its overall impression of being well sorted support the case for dependable day-to-day use. Its powertrains are described as refined, and the car’s technology and safety systems are presented as mature and effective rather than experimental.

The performance content also points to a well-behaved drivetrain and transmission, with the S-tronic dual-clutch automatic behaving beautifully and the car feeling quiet and composed on the road. The cost-effectiveness content adds that the A4 includes desirable standard equipment and that the more powerful version remains a good value.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about choosing the right configuration, since the base engine is modest and the car’s premium features can make a poorly equipped example feel less satisfying.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi A4?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The A4 lineup includes Komfort, Progressiv, and Technik, and the feature spread is meaningful because Audi stair-steps equipment as you move up. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more, while the top trim brings the fullest safety and convenience package.
• Powertrain: The 40 TFSI uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, while the 45 TFSI raises output to 261 hp and 273 lb-ft. Both use a seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch automatic and standard Quattro Ultra all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Audi Pre Sense includes front and rear collision preparation, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. Higher trims can add lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning, a surround-view camera system, Park Assist, and Matrix-design LED headlights with automatic high-beam operation.
• Infotainment: The A4 uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, Audi Connect connected services, wireless smartphone charging, and a navigation system. The interface also supports over-the-air-style connected functionality through Audi Connect services, and the screen is paired with separate climate controls.
• Fuel efficiency: The 40 TFSI earns 8.2 L/100 km in combined driving, while the 45 TFSI is rated at 8.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2022 Audi A4 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Audi A4 is offered in 3 trim levels: Komfort, Progressiv, Technik.

Here's the short version:

• Komfort: This is the entry point if you want the A4’s core luxury-sedan experience at the lowest price. It gives you the standard equipment that makes the car appealing, but it is the trim most likely to feel light on features compared with the others.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it should strike the most balanced mix of equipment and price. If you want the A4’s technology and comfort without stretching to the top trim, this is the one to focus on first.
• Technik: This is the trim to choose if you want the fullest feature set, especially the most advanced safety and driver-assistance equipment. It is the right pick if you want the most complete version of the A4 rather than the best bargain.

Audi stair-steps safety features, so the higher you go, the more driver-assistance equipment you get.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 84 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,851 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $28,265 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,996 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean less upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend implies you should expect a more competitive resale environment than last year, especially if the car is not well equipped or is missing desirable options.

On the other hand, the A4’s strong reputation for refinement, technology, and safety should help it remain appealing to used buyers who want a premium compact sedan. Well-kept examples with the right equipment should hold demand better than stripped-down ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Audi A4 safe?

The 2022 Audi A4 gets a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and a five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi Pre Sense is the core driver-assistance suite, and it includes front and rear collision preparation, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. Higher trims can add lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning, a surround-view camera system, Park Assist, and Matrix-design LED headlights with automatic high-beam operation.

One caveat is that the adaptive cruise control can react a bit slowly in changing traffic, so you should still stay engaged behind the wheel.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It still feels fresh, with modern technology, strong safety ratings, and a rock-solid structure.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of freshness, technology, safety, and driving enjoyment, the 2022 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, you can use the softer market and the available inventory to shop carefully for a well-equipped example rather than paying up for the first one you see.
