Used 2022 Audi A4 for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2022 Audi A4 cost?

Prices have softened 11.11% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 82 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2022 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Audi A4 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Technology, and Safety.

The A4 stands out as a compact luxury sports sedan that still feels fresh, with a rock-solid structure, modern technology, and a driving character that remains engaging. It is also positioned as a strong choice if you want a premium sedan that balances everyday usability with a polished, upscale feel.

The trade-offs are clear: the base engine is described as underwhelming, and the back seat is cramped. If you need stronger entry-level performance or more rear-seat room, you should weigh those compromises carefully.

With 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is a decent amount of value-oriented inventory to consider.

Is the 2022 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The A4 is described as having a rock-solid structure and a mature, well-sorted feel, and the expert evaluation says it still impresses more than five years into this generation. Its powertrain is also presented as refined and well matched to the car’s character, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

The available maintenance and ownership experience also looks straightforward for a premium sedan, with standard equipment and a well-integrated technology package helping the car feel complete. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you can live with the underwhelming base engine and the tighter rear seat.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi A4?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes the A4 sedan, the A4 Allroad wagon, and an S4 performance-tuned model, while the A4 itself comes in 40 TFSI and 45 TFSI model series with Komfort, Progressiv, and Technik trim levels in Canada. The lower trims get the core luxury features, but the top specification adds the most complete safety and convenience equipment, so you should check carefully for feature gaps if you are shopping the entry-level version.
• Powertrain: The 40 TFSI uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, while the 45 TFSI raises output to 261 hp and 273 lb-ft. Both use a seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch automatic and standard Quattro Ultra AWD, and both require premium gas.
• Safety package: Under the Audi Pre Sense umbrella, the A4 Technik includes front and rear collision preparation, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The test vehicle also had lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a safe exit warning system, a surround-view camera system, Park Assist, and Matrix-design LED headlights with automatic high-beam operation. Lower trims may not include the full suite.
• Infotainment: The A4 uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, Audi Connect connected services, wireless smartphone charging, and a navigation system. It also supports common swipe and pinch gestures, and over-the-air capability is not mentioned.
• Fuel efficiency: The 40 TFSI earns 8.2 L/100 km in combined driving, while the 45 TFSI is rated at 8.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2022 Audi A4 trim should I buy?

The 2022 Audi A4 is offered in 3 trim levels: Komfort, Progressiv, Technik.

Here's the short version:

• Komfort: This is the trim to consider if you want the lowest entry point into the A4 lineup and are comfortable giving up some of the richer convenience and driver-assistance equipment found higher up.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it should give you a stronger balance of equipment and price without pushing you all the way to the top of the range.
• Technik: Choose this if you want the most complete A4 experience, including the fullest safety and convenience content described in the test vehicle.

Audi staggers the safety equipment across the range, so the higher you go, the more of the Pre Sense and driver-assistance content you get.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 82 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.11% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,863 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $28,938 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,554 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can be good news if you are buying now but less favourable if you are planning to sell soon. If you own one, you may need to price it competitively to stand out, especially if similar examples are listed near the lower end of the range.

For a future seller, the upside is that the A4 still has strong appeal as a premium compact sedan with good equipment and a polished driving experience. That should help support demand, even if the current market is leaning in the buyer’s favour.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Audi A4 safe?

The 2022 Audi A4 gets a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and a five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi Pre Sense is the named driver-assistance suite, and the test vehicle’s standard and available safety equipment included front and rear collision preparation, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control with Traffic Jam Assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a safe exit warning system, a surround-view camera system, Park Assist, and Matrix-design LED headlights with automatic high-beam operation.

One caveat is that the adaptive cruise control can react a bit slowly in changing traffic, so you may need to intervene sooner than expected in some situations. Even so, the overall safety package is broad and effective.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It still feels fresh, with modern technology, strong safety ratings, and a rock-solid structure.

The bottom line: If you want an A4 that still feels current and you value its mix of technology, safety, and driving polish, the 2022 is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to focus on the lower end of the current range and compare carefully against other model years before you commit.
