(11 reviews)This is the best car I have ever owned, hands down. In addition to the wealth of features that make my long commute easier, the gas mileage cannot be beat. I fill up once a week. It is smooth and comfortable. I love the adaptive cruise control and the steer assist. I live in an area that gets a lot of snow and I trust its ability to get me safely to where I’m going in any weather. It self corrected last winter when the roads were icy. This was on a bridge and other cars were fishtailing all over, but my RAV corrected itself, drove straight, and I swear it saved me from an accident. Also, the pick up when getting on the highway is superb. It is comfortable and at 103,000 miles mine is still going strong. It’s been off road, in the mountains, all over the streets of NYC, and is my daily commuting car. Right now with its current high mileage I’d drive my RAV4 Hybrid to Alaska and back and wouldn’t worry at all about it. It runs just as well as the day I drove it off the lot with 11 miles on the odometer. I keep my cars a long time and I fully expect it to get to 300,000 miles. Take care of the maintenance and you won’t go wrong with a RAV 4 Hybrid.
It is an excellent vehicle and meets my needs. It is gas efficient, has plenty of room and drives with ease.
This car (in the color lunar rock) is beautiful and sporty, comfortably roomy, gets great gas mileage, and has amazing safety features. I was in a rollover in my first Rav4, and came out with barely a scratch. Already a repeat customer of the Rav4 Hybrid XLE. It literally saved my life.
I compared the RAV4 hybrid to every model in its class. I bought the limited because of its features. The base hybrid models felt cheap compared to the nicer appointed models which coupled with the strong gas mileage made it a no brainer. I am extremely happy with choice. Do yourself a favor and shop around for a good deal.
The car has all the features I want, drives nicely. I am a short person so the gas pedal position is very important. I drove the Ford Escape & the Explorer but my foot kept slipping off the gas pedal - it is positioned too high & my foot cant rest on the floorboard. The Rav4 is perfect. I just wish it came standard with Navigation (not the plug into the phone version)... at times my phone does not get service in rural areas... I will definitely continue my search for a fair price on a Rav4.
