Should I buy a 2021 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 CX-3 makes sense if you want a stylish, engaging small crossover with a premium feel and you can live with its tighter rear seat and limited cargo space. If you need more practicality or want to stretch your budget further, a different year or a roomier alternative may be the better fit.
