• Inventory: There are 137 listings available.

The current average of $32,697 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,455 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the NX has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the used market, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than price momentum alone.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $41,908 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $32,697 CAD average.
• The redesign brings a more modern, more dynamic, and more technologically advanced feel.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the better value and a proven ownership reputation. If you are willing to pay more for a newer-feeling SUV with a stronger tech-forward character, the 2022 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2021 is the smarter starting point.
