Reviewed a 2021 INFINITI QX50 on Dec 27, 2021
I was looking for features similar to my 2019 Honda CR-V, and found more. A feature that I sought with the QX50 (which was not with my CR-V), was self starting windshield wipers. My new QX50 does have this feature. I have not found any missing features. My new QX50 can be compared to my previous Honda CR-V, and Mercedes GLA250.

How much does the 2021 INFINITI QX50 cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $23,712 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $23,673 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $29,850 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $29,871 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −20.62% |
Prices have softened 20.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 53 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2021 INFINITI QX50 a good car?
Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests you should feel confident considering it if you want a used luxury SUV with strong owner approval. That kind of feedback points to a model that has generally met expectations for shoppers who have lived with it. With 24.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.
Is the 2021 INFINITI QX50 reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce the risk of unpleasant surprises, though you should still budget for the usual wear-and-tear checks on any higher-mileage luxury SUV.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 INFINITI QX50?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.
- Deal availability: 24.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 53 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 20.62% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $23,673 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2021 INFINITI QX50's resale value?
The current average of $23,712 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,871 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle more attractive to used buyers today but may limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the current average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2021 INFINITI QX50 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2021 if:
- 24.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 20.62% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and current pricing, the 2021 is the year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, compare it with nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2021's strong market reception and current deal availability.
