I got the basic, short wheel base XL Transit. This is a perfect vehicle for making utilitarian trips around town. My wife uses it for delivering crates of food to the local food bank. I use it for hauling plants and garden supplies. It drives like a car and is good on gas. A spiffy little vehicle for running errands.

Unique vehicle with peculiar proportions and high versatility. Great combination of passenger comfort, space, cargo capacity and a good gas mileage. Comparable to minivans but with better gas mileage, other than hybrids.

How much does the 2021 Ford Transit Connect cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $22,951 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $22,513 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $26,104 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $25,886 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −11.34% |
Prices have softened 11.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 103 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2021 Ford Transit Connect a good car?
Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.
With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from if you want value.
Is the 2021 Ford Transit Connect reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce the risk of unpleasant surprises if the vehicle has been maintained properly.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Ford Transit Connect?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.
- Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 103 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 11.34% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $22,513 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2021 Ford Transit Connect's resale value?
The current average of $22,951 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,886 CAD.
That softer pricing can make the model more attractive to you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If market conditions stay similar, resale value should depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2021 Ford Transit Connect or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2021 if:
- 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 11.34% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2021 is a sensible choice if you want a used Transit Connect with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has eased from last year. If you are price-sensitive, it is still worth comparing nearby years, but the 2021 stands out as a balanced option when you want value and a decent pool of listings to choose from.
