Is the 2021 Ford Transit Connect reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Ford Transit Connect?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 101 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,482 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Ford Transit Connect's resale value?

The current average of $22,482 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,971 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold value better than a higher-priced purchase made earlier in the cycle. Strong condition and sensible mileage will matter more when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Ford Transit Connect or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and owner approval, the 2021 is the year to focus on first. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and target the best-priced listing rather than the newest one.
