Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.58/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that many drivers feel good about living with over time, with comments that highlight dependable value, performance, and features. The repeated praise for the Colorado’s overall ownership experience suggests it can be a truck you count on, especially if you focus on well-kept examples.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is choosing a truck that has been neglected or used hard, so a careful inspection and service-history review matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 149 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.85% compared with last year.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $32,458 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,822 CAD.

That softer pricing means future sellers may not see the same strength they would have a year ago, especially if the market stays well supplied. For you, that can be a benefit on the buying side now, but it also suggests resale gains may be more modest if you plan to sell in the near term.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.58/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.58/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the more modern, better-equipped Colorado with strong owner approval, the 2021 is the year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but the 2021 gives you a compelling mix of value, features, and market softness that can make it the better all-around buy.
